New funding measures coming in April 2024!
New 9 month funding to start in September 2024!
From April 2024, working families with children over the age of 2 will be entitled to 15 hours of free childcare over the 38 weeks of the school year, totally 570 hours per year. This is split and allocated over the 51 weeks we are open throughout the year. As a parent, you will need to obtain a code from the government, they recommend doing this before March 2024. Without this code, we are unable to offer the funding to you.
30 hours weekly funded (free childcare) is available to parents that are both working at least 16 hours per week, or one parent in a single parent household (providing income is below £100,000)
September 2025 this funding scheme will be available to all children from the term after they turn 9 months old.
You will then use the funded term time hours and spread them across the 51 weeks of the year that we are open, leaving 22 hours each week.
Funded hours start after their third birthday, so if your child is 3 in June, they will be entitled to free hours in the September after.
Eligible working families with children over the age of 9 months on or before the 31st of August 2024 can access 15 hours of government funded childcare from September 2024.
Families are advised to apply for their funding code between the 15th June and 31st of July to avoid disappointment.
